You may use Roof Pitch Estimator for planning, estimating, educational, and project documentation purposes. You are responsible for using the tools safely and for verifying measurements, quantities, and pricing before making business, construction, or purchasing decisions.
2. Estimates Are Not Professional Advice
Roof measurements, pitch readings, material quantities, cost estimates, PDFs, and shareable estimate pages are informational estimates only. Actual roofing requirements may vary based on roof condition, local building codes, installation methods, safety constraints, product specifications, and professional field measurements. Always consult a licensed roofing contractor before undertaking any roofing work.
3. Accounts
You may create an account to save calculations, access Pro features, and manage your subscription. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
When paid subscriptions are available, they are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through your account page, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled at our discretion. Prices may change with reasonable notice. We are not responsible for third-party payment processor errors or outages.
5. Free Trial Uses
Certain features, including the Pitch Gauge, may be available for a limited number of free uses before a subscription is required. Free uses are tracked via browser cookies. Clearing cookies resets the counter; this is permitted for personal use but not for systematic circumvention.
6. Acceptable Use
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or abuse the service.
- Do not upload or share unlawful, harmful, misleading, or infringing content.
- Do not use the Pitch Gauge or any tool in unsafe conditions, on unstable surfaces, or while trespassing.
- Do not rely on the service as a replacement for licensed professional judgment where required by law or safety standards.
- Do not use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the service at scale.
7. Intellectual Property
The site, interface, branding, text, graphics, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may use generated estimates and reports for your own projects or client communications. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or redistribute the service itself, or use our branding without written permission.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to losses arising from inaccurate measurements, incorrect material quantities, pricing changes, project delays, or reliance on any estimate generated by this service.
